Wow.

So...I have noticed something. I save everything, absolutely everything, until the last possible day. For example, my 700 word blog still needs doing. Also, I still need to get everything for spirit week, which starts tomorrow... Another little thing, it's Sunday night and I still have to do my laundry. I really need to get better at this.

Anyway, I've been thinking. I had said that this blog was going to be strictly about books and stuff like that. Well, I think that this turned into a blog about whatever pops into my head at any given moment. As long as it is working for me, I will keep doing it like this...

Okay, now onto the blogging about important stuff. I watched all of the "you suck at Photoshop" things to write a lot about them. Now that I'm here, I have no idea what to write about them. All I shall say is YOU MUST WATCH ALL 20!!! They are so funny! When I watched them, I knew that the voice sounded familiar(I thought it sounded like Dane Cook, the comedian), and at the end, when it showed the speaker, Donnie Hoyle, it was who I had thought.

Well, that was all the feedback I could give without ruining it for everyone who hasn't seen it. I had already given away who was speaking, though. Sorry. Everyone should watch it anyway!!! Hooray!

Sorry.

So, I never finished the writing expectation for last week. Sorry. Instead of coming up with a lame excuse that no one will believe anyway, I will just write what I must. That Did You Know 2.0 video was extremely interesting. And true! In 5 years, some think that the world will be over. You know, that whole "the Mayans predicted that 12/12/2012 the world will end" spiel. I believe that that is a total crock of [insert swear word(s) of choice here]. The reason why the Mayans stopped at that date is because they were being attacked by invaders and they decided to stop the calendar on a nice, even day. THE WORLD WILL NOT END ON THAT DAY! Maybe. The world could end on any given day, but if it does end on that day, it will just be a lucky guess from the Mayans. Anyway, back on topic. I think that in 5/10 years, the world will be exactly the same. When people think of the future, they see flying cars and stuff like that. Bull. I think that one of the only changes will be the fact that there will be so much smog that we won't be able to see 2 feet in front of us. I believe that if we bring electric cars back(see WGI) we will start saving this planet one step at a time. And I just really want to drive on of those miniscule cars extremely fast. Something that excites me about the future is where I will be. The future holds many mysteries and I hope to make a big impact on the world in mine. I want to do something huge. Like discover an ancient civilization or something like that. What scares we is the fact that global warming is real and that, at the rate we are going, the world is going to crumble. I want to get agroup together to do something about it! Well, that's it. Later.

Why is the Queen giving away 'Sir's?

I don't get it. The Queen is just granting people knighthood left and right. It's getting quite annoying actually. Even actors and such are getting knighted. Why can't she save it for someone who really deserves it. Like, if the world was about to be blown up, somebody saves it, and the Queen knights them, they'll be up there with Sir Sean Connery and Sir Elton John. I bring this up because I just watched a video on TED that was Sir Ken Robinson speaking about human creativity and how kids in schools get their creativity educated out of them. It was extremely interesting. It also made me laugh and I didn't think anyof these TED talks could. The ones that I have seen so far have been boring(no offense...).

Anyway, time to answer the questions. 1. I agree with Mr. Robinson on the fact that as one gets older, one starts losing creativity. We are taking so many more math classes than art and music classes. (I definitely prefer the arts!) 2. I think that schools could foster imagination by doing a few things. First, make art classes more of a requirement. At my school, we only need one art class to graduate. We should have more. Second, I believe that in english and art classes, we should have more opportunities to be creative. Maybe in an english class, we could be able to write creative fiction instead of tons of different research papers.

YAY!!!

So, I know that I said I would write about another favorite book series of mine, The Goddess series, but I am going to break away from books for this one blog. I am doing this because I am so freaking excited!!!! My favorite movie is Boondock Saints. Well ,when it came out in 1999, it was banned from the theaters and stuff because of it's...well...I don't know what but anyway, now, after 10 years, the sequel is coming out! Ohhh, I am so excited for this! It's called Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. The same people are in it. The only thing that is bugging me is that someone who died in the last one is back. I don't know how they are going to do that. Maybe flashbacks or something like that? I'm just really excited for it anyway. See how excited I am...I've already used the word 'excited' 4 times. That definitely says something.

Since I've decided to take a break from books for this blog so I think I will veer off into music. Well, as you may have noticed, my favorite band is Muse. They are an incredible British band that is just amazing. I'm not completely addicted to them though. Not like one of my friends and her favorite band. She is so completely addicted to them. For her birthday, I told her that I am making her a plushie of the lead singer. She screamed and jumped up and down(well, she would have if I hadn't told her in the middle of class). Since my birthday is one day after hers, she told me that she would make me something that has to do with Muse. I think it was a little stage with all 3 band members and stuff. I'm very excited for it but I think she might forget or something. Anyway, back to how addicted she is. She found a way last year to bring every conversation around to Tokio Hotel(the band). It was actually quite ingenious.

Well, I think that this is it for my blog of today. Talk to you later.

Blah.

I didn't know that I had to write a reflection. Oh well, I shall do that now. 1. have learned that Photoshop is really cool and a whole lot better than paint. I have also learned that I like blogging just a little bit... 2. I think that the internet is very useful for the spreading of information. You can write something somewhere and almost immediately, it has been sent to people. 3. If people use this technology on a large scale, I think big things could happen. Someone could probably start a war or something on here. 4. Individually, someone could get all the information they ever wanted on her and they could spread their own(maybe in a blog). 5. That was a very interesting video. I agree with him. Especially on the World of Warcraft thing. The people sitting in their basements are actually doing something rather than sitting thir butt in front of a television. The TV-watchers aren't even thinking. The WOW players are thinking up strategies and stuff all the time. Well, that's it. (Sorry I didn't write in seperate paragraphs. It didn't look right.)

Might of Olympus!

This blog will be about another favorite book series of mine, Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I just found out that they are making a movie out of this, too. I should seriously just stop reading popular books. This is so annoying. But, I must admit, the guy who is playing Apollo looks really...hot. (Sorry. Terrible pun...). The person playing Annabeth and the person playing Athena both have brown hair, though. In the books, they are blond. Apparently, Pierce Brosnan is going to be playing the centaur. That is going to look weird.
There are tons of big-name actors in this besides just Pierce Brosnan. There is also Uma Thurman(Medusa), Rosario Dawson(Persephone), and Sean Bean(Zeus). See, this is exactly what happened with Twilight. I thought that the cast was great(besides Edward) and that it could possibly be a good-ish movie but, alas, I was mistaken. Gravely mistaken(see previous rant). I do believe that Sean Bean could possibly be a good portrayer of Zeus. Maybe, maybe not. Anyway, I shall now talk about the books. Right now, I am re-reading all of series because the last book just came out. I am really excited because this will be the ultimate battle.
As I was walking through KSC the other day, I noticed a bunch of little kids playing a really cool version of capture the flag. They were all wearing orange shirts and when I stopped to see, this one kid ran past me and I saw what his shirt said. It said, "Camp Half Blood". That is from this book series. I was so ecstatic. I really want to join that little program. Like, right now! That would be so freakin' cool!!! Alright, this is my last post for the week. Next time it will be about another favorite(these are not in order, by the way) series called the Goddess, which, with my current resources, I cannot find any information about a movie being made! YES!!!

Maximum Experience!

Alrighty. Like I had said, this new blog will be about another favorite book series of mine, Maximum Ride. I love these books. James Patterson is a totally amazing author! No joke. I think he might be my favorite(besides Rick Riordan, who will be talked about in my next blog). Anyways, back on subject. There are 5 books in the Maximum Ride series. After the 4th one, James Patterson said that there weren't going to be any more, but I was walking in Wal-Mart a few months ago and I saw something that made me jump up and down a bunch of times! (I almost screamed but I didn't think that would be a good thing to do in a giant store.) I saw...*pause for dramatic effect*...THE FIFTH BOOK!!! It was simply titled Max. I bought it right away!!! I couldn't believe it was only 10 dollars!!!!
Maximum Ride is about 6 genetically engineered kids. They are 98% human, 2% bird. They have wings, lighter bones, bigger lungs, and they are hunted by really creepy mixes of humans and wolves, called Erasers. Their names are(in order of age, Max being the oldest) Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, The Gasman(no explanation needed), and Angel. Max and Fang are in love with each other, but they only admitted it to each other in the 3rd book and in the 4th book, the romance between them was pretty much non-existent. So that was another reason that I was so excited about the fifth book. I was so happy when I read it(all in one day, I might add) and I found that there was tons of romance! Yay for romance!!! I will say this once: YOU MUST READ THIS SERIES IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY!!!
Like I said in the previous blog, they are now making a movie out of this(it will be coming out in 2010...blah...) which will STINK! I have already seen the commercial that is out and I really don't think it will be a good movie. I really wouldn't care if the movie was 5 hours long, directors should follow the book exactly. I really think that my favorite part of the book will not be in it. IT NEVER IS!
My next blog shall touch on another favorite series: Percy Jackson and the Olympians, by Rick Riordan. As you can tell, I am going to write about my favorites before writing about other things.

What my blog will be about.

I think that my blog will be about books. I love to read. I am a complete and total bibliophile. I can write about which books I have read or am in the process of reading, I can give my reviews on the book, and, as a little bonus, I can complain about or approve on a movie based on a book.
Example: Twilight. Such an amazing book. My copy was so over read that the spine fell off. The movie, however... I want to compose a group that will help me burn every copy in existence. I am not kidding. They totally picked the wrong guy to play Edward. I mean, seriously. Robert whats-his-face is so wrong to play Edward. I don't think a movie should have even been made because my image of Edward was so perfect that no one could have ever played him. Then, with the whole scene on the fishing dock, where James, Laurent, and Victoria kill the guy and then James steals his jacket. That is so stupid. WHY DID THEY PUT THAT IN???!!! It has absolutely nothing to do with the book. Also, in the book, Laurent wasn't black. He was supposed to be at least mildly pale. Seriously, he is a vampire. And their hair. Laurent's hair was supposed to be shiny black and cropped short. IT WASN'T IN THE MOVIE! James' hair was also supposed to be cropped short and in the movie, it was long and in a ponytail.
For the last scene, the fight scene in the ballet studio, Emmett and Jasper were out of that studio because they couldn't handle the blood. In the movie, they were burning James right there. And, I will admit it, the part with Alice jumping on James' shoulders and breaking his neck was cool but it wasn't in the book!!! Another thing, why did they hire an actor for Jasper who was bigger than the biggest Cullen, Emmett. Oohhh! I just remembered another part that I detest. THE BASEBALL GAME!!!! All of them are wearing baseball uniforms! What the heck is that about?! They didn't look stupid in the book. At least, Stephenie Meyer didn't write them in that way. Something else that peeves me...when the heck did Edward's room decide to lose a wall and just go out into the forest. And what was with the whole jumping from tree to tree thing. Even if I hadn't read the book I would've thought it was lame. One more thing: Why did Rosalie get all P-Oed when Bella said she already ate. It didn't even touch on the fact that Rosalie was jealous of Bella for being human.
The only great part of the movie was when a song by my favorite band came on as background music in the baseball part. Super Massive Black Hole by Muse!!! Well, that's it. Next time, I might touch on my next favorite series that they are turning into a movie, WHICH WILL STINK!! Maximum Ride.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Are you freaking kidding me?????? I just wrote so much and right when I was going to publish it...I don't even know what happened. It all got deleted. I'll try not to be so moody about it but...argh. This is so annoying. Alright. I'm just going to write about whatever pops into my head next... *waiting* ...GREEN! Alrighty then. I'm going to write about my favorite color. Green is just so awesome. It is earthy and peaceful and just downright cool. Well. That lasted about 8 seconds. Now, seeing as I just got out of the superhero elective, I shall write about my favorite superheroes. Deadpool is numero uno. He is the funniest hero ever. Actually, he isn't even a "hero". He is a mercenary. But he has a witticism for everything. In one comic, he makes fun of Spiderman's "Spidey Sense" by saying: "Shhh. My common sense is tingling." Next, after Deadpool, is Captain America. For superhero day last year(in UB) I went as Captain America, complete with outfit and shield. The shield was AWESOME (props to my brother for making it) (and props to my mom for making the actual costume). Actually, the only things that I did were coming up with the idea, and I wore the costume. Hmmm... Again, writer's block has stricken me. Tonight, I didn't even know about this blogging thing. All I wanted to do for APT was read a little bit and then fall asleep at, like, 8:30. I am really, really tired and when I get tired, I get mean. I feel like I am being mean to everyone. I am so sorry. The only good thing about coming to the computer lab right now is the fact that I am listening to my favorite band, Muse! That's it. I don't really know how many words I need to write but I believe that this is over 300, so...YAY! I am declaring myself done for the night. Now I shall go back to the dorm and crash. Nighty night...
